Dancing With the Stars is adding a new face to its roster of professional dancers — but millions of people have already seen his work.
Jan Ravnik will join the pro roster for the ABC show’s 34th season, which is set to premiere Sept. 16. Ravnik is best known as one of the dancers on Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour and was part of several viral moments during the singer-songwriters world tour in 2023 and ‘24.
ABC announced Ravnik’s addition to the DWTS cast Thursday on Good Morning America. Speculation about his joining the show began swirling earlier in the month when he posted a video on social media of a dance with long-time DWTS pro Jenna Johnson.
Ravnik’s partner has yet to be announced. ABC has already said that Robert Irwin, Alix Earle and stars of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives stars Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt will be part of season 34; the full cast and celebrity/pro pairings will be announced Sept. 3.
In addition to the Eras Tour, Ravnik has performed at the 2025 Oscars and on tours with Mariah Care, Paula Abdul and Bruno Mars. He was also featured in Carey’s 2021 special Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues on Apple TV+.
