“Happy’s Place” is putting together another “Reba” reunion.
JoAnna Garcia Swisher is set to guest star in Season 2 “Happy’s Place” alongside her former co-star, Reba McEntire, Variety has learned. The second season of the NBC multi-cam comedy is set to premiere on Nov. 7 at 8 p.m. ET/PT and streaming the next day on Peacock.
Swisher will play Kenzie, who is described as “a local Knoxville influencer who has been hired to represent Happy’s Place for their upcoming social media marketing campaign and all of it is much to Bobbie’s (McEntire) chagrin.”
Swisher starred as McEntire’s daughter Cheyenne on “Reba” throughout the show’s six season run at The WB/CW. She currently stars in the Netflix series “Sweet Magnolias,” with that show prepping its fifth season. Swisher is set to direct two episodes of Season 5 as well. She also recently hosted the reality dating series “The Ultimatum: Queer Love” for Netflix. Her other TV credits include “Gossip Girl,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Freaks and Geeks,” and “Royal Pains,:
She is repped by UTA, Untitled, and Shelter PR.
This is the latest “Reba” star to appear alongside McEntire on “Happy’s Place.” Previously, both Steve Howey and Christopher Rich made cameos in the show’s first season.
Along with McEntire, the main cast of “Happy’s Place” includes Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Peterman, Pablo Castelblanco, Tokala Black Elk, and Rex Linn.
“Happy’s Place” is executive produced by Kevin Abbott, McEntire, Michael Hanel, Mindy Schultheis, Matt Berry and Pamela Fryman. Universal Television is the studio.
