The stars are aligning for Vogue World: Hollywood.
Vogue confirmed today that Doja Cat and Gracie Abrams will perform at the event, set to take place at Paramount Studios on Sunday, Oct. 26. The fashion bible also revealed a roster of A-listers that will be in the audience: Ashley Park, Ayo Edebiri, Dakota Johnson, Greta Lee, Gwyneth Paltrow, Karol G, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Miley Cyrus, Mona Zaki, Nicole Kidman, Rina Sawayama and others. The event will be live streamed here under the direction of Emmy winner Mark A. Ritchie of Southpaw Prods.
The fourth installment of the starry event promises to be more than just a spectacle of, as Anna Wintour previously detailed, “a one night only show with a huge cast of models and actors and dancers and musicians and surprises.” It will serve as a tribute to “the love affair between fashion and film” with a special focus on philanthropy and lifting up the costume designers impacted by the catastrophic Los Angeles wildfires. As such, 100 percent of ticket sales will benefit the Entertainment Community Fund.
Costume designers will collaborate with fashion houses on original costumes from classic movies as well as reimagined pieces that draw inspiration from past films. The pairings include: Colleen Atwood with McQueen, Milena Canonero with Louis Vuitton, Ruth E. Carter with Balmain, Catherine Martin with Miu Miu, Arianne Phillips with Marc Jacobs, Sandy Powell with Valentino and Jacqueline West with ALAÏA.
Vogue also confirmed the creative team: Star choreographer Fatima Robinson, who has worked with Beyoncé, will lead choreography; Aron Forbes and Derek Renfroe from Sounds We Feel (Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo), will oversee music; Jess Gonchor will lead set design; Marie Julie Craeymeersch from Mode and the Moon will lead production; Jen Green from Genevieve Prods. will be the run of show producer; Pepe Avila del Pino will serve as consulting cinematographer; Stephen Galloway has been tapped as movement director; Pat McGrath Labs is the official backstage makeup brand with its leader overseeing makeup design and execution; Jimmy Paul is overseeing hair with Kérastase on board as official hair partner.
In addition to Wintour, the Vogue World team includes newly installed Vanity Fair chief Mark Guiducci, Lisa Love as Los Angeles creative and event director, Juan Costa Paz from Paris-based creative studio Convoy as creative director and Alex Harrington with Luca Galasso leading fashion. Fear of God’s Jerry Lorenzo designed an eight-piece Vogue World: Hollywood capsule celebrating iconic LA landmarks which will be sold at fearofgod.com and in-store at Maxfield LA.
